Sultry of voice and of face, sweet Southern peach Kelly Rowland shot to international pop-music fame as one third of the soulful supergroup Destiny’s Child. Every bit as worship-worthy as ultra-famous groupmate Beyoncé Knowles, the sinfully sexy Kelly emerged as a powerful solo artist in her own right after the final iteration of Destiny’s Child split up, landing a huge hit alongside St. Louis rap star Nelly called “Dilemma” in 2002. She showed her risqué side in the eye-popping video for her song Like This (2007), donning a series of super-slinky sheaths and serving up enough cleavage to make a melon farmer weep with joy. Talk about boobylicious! We like that. We like that a lot. But the multitalented Kelly is no slouch in the acting department either. Early on in her career she appeared in three episodes of the hit UPN show Girlfriends and earning her scream queen wings with a non-nude but memorable turn in Freddy vs. Jason (2003) where Freddy rips her nose off. Kelly, ironically, went on to appear in an episode of Single Ladies before landing a role in Think Like a Man (2012). She had a longrunning gig as the young version of Leah Walker on Empire, played Gladys Knight on American Soul, and starred in Bad Hair (2020). But Kelly finally gave us something to flick the bean to in Coffee (2020). In case there’s a question what the song’s about, the first line is “coffee and sex in the mornin, breakfast in bed got me moanin.” Sorry Folgers, that’s the best part of waking up. At one point, we see Kelly on top of a horse in a see through sheet of a top. Coffee will make you cream! I don’t think you’re ready for that Kelly, but Mr. Skin sure was! She doesn’t have a beehive and isn’t married to Jiggaman, but we’d sure love to make Kelly Rowland scream our name.
